Description
Certified by the Soil Association, cocoa for our Organic Madagascan hot chocolate is grown in the Sambirano Upper Valley with a natural mix of Criollo, Trinitario and Forastero varieties. Fermentation takes place in tiered wooden boxes, where the beans are regularly turned and carefully dried in the sun.

The painstaking process ultimately results in a flavoursome hot chocolate with a low sugar content – that’s probably why our Madagascan hot chocolate won the 2013 Great Taste Award and Bronze at the Academy of Chocolate in 2019.
